Are appointments online or in person?
In-person sessions are available in Toronto, ON and virtual sessions across Ontario.
Will my insurance cover therapy?
Services are not covered by OHIP, however psychotherapy services may be covered by private extended health benefit plans.
It is important to note the difference between a Psychologist a Psychotherapist and a Social Worker, and how this may determine your coverage. Please check your benefits before booking to confirm your coverage, as plans vary widely. Invoices will be sent to you upon payment by email to be remitted to your provider for reimbursement. Direct billing is not available at this time.
What is your cancellation policy?
A minimum of 24 hours is required to reschedule or cancel an appointment.
If you are unable to provide sufficient notice, or if your appointment is missed, the full appointment fee will be applied. You may cancel or reschedule your appointment by email during or through your online account until 24 hours in advance. Cancellation fees are not covered by private insurance.
I understand circumstances can arise that are outside your control. To be fair to other clients who were not able to book in your reserved time, and to the time that has been held for you, I apply the cancellation policy automatically and without bias.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Payment can be made by credit card or e-transfer, and is due at the end of your appointment.
